Founder and Chairman
Ms. Koriat founded TransCom in 1998. Guided by her vision and leadership, it has developed into a unique company with the highest international standards. Parallel to TransCom’s development She was a managing partner at Simul, a company with hundreds of employees in 4 offices, providing translation, simultaneous translation and interpretation services to foreign companies. Ms. Koriat has also instilled Commitment to the Community as a core value in TransCom. she has founded the First Hug Association in order to provide babies, who are abandoned in hospitals by their parents, with the emotional necessities that are so necessary for their proper development and recovery. For her voluntary contribution to the community, Ms. Koriat was awarded the President’s Award for Volunteerism in 2009 and the Minister of Health’s Award in 2010.
Chief Executive Officer
Matan joined TransCom as an operations expert, after previously working in the communications technology industry. Bringing a fresh view to the industry on operations, Matan has been working closely with clinicians, life-science experts and clinical trial teams to create service experiences which combine scientific expertise, operational efficiency and top-quality customer service. Matan also leads TransCom’s marketing and sales operations, and has overseen the company’s expansion into new markets around the world. He has worked closely with global pharmaceutical companies and CROs on creating and improving their multi-national translation activities and procedures, and has published several articles on operational efficiencies in leading clinical trial journals. Mr. Topper Erez has a BA in behavioral sciences, specializing in research methods and statistics.
Mr. Shanon-Haberfeld joined Transcom after successfully leading public health non-profits. Combining his operational experience with his life-science and health background, Rotem has developed the company’s operations and customer service department to new degrees of excellence. Under his leadership, Transcom has developed processes and methods which allow clients to receive quick and efficient service from an expert team of Project Managers, and perform complex translation services within unmatched timelines.
Director, Europe Business Development
Val Thorpe joined Transcom in 2014 as the European Business Development Director, having spent 20 years managing projects in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and CRO sectors. With a BSc Hons in Genetics and a life-sciences background, she has a wealth of working knowledge of the healthcare industry’s unique requirements. Focused on managing the Business Development and Sales business for Transcom throughout Europe – Val has helped to develop the key strategies for moving Transcom into new markets around the globe.
Eitan Regev has rich experience in quality and service processes from his experience in the banking and finance industries. Taking charge of the company’s quality department, Eitan has been leading a process aimed to improve and re-imagine the company’s IT and quality infrastructure to a cutting-edge level while maintaining service and delivery levels. He has also been a key figure in recruiting leading linguists and translators into Transcom’s vendor pool, establishing a solid process of learning and growth for all linguists, and strengthening the company’s in-house quality and content department.
