TransCom is managed by a group of experienced professionals who have decided to combine their knowledge and expertise to create a different kind of CRO, one that is flexible and innovative.
Ms. Michelle Koriat
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Koriat and TransCom have been providing services to the Clinical Trials market since 1998. She started a company on her own, and guided by her vision and leadership, TransCom has developed into a unique CRO that continues to grow and provide services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies to the highest international standards.
From 2000 to 2005 (parallel to TransCom’s development), Ms. Koriat was a managing partner at Simul, a company with hundreds of employees in 4 offices. Simul specializes in providing translation, simultaneous translation and interpretation services to foreign companies.
Ms. Koriat has also instilled Commitment to the Community as a core value in TransCom. In 1994 she has founded the First Hug Association in order to provide babies, who are abandoned in hospitals by their parents, with the emotional necessities that are so necessary for their proper development and recovery. Its volunteers provide the babies with the human touch, the emotional treatment, the warmth, and the love they need so much. For her voluntary contribution to the community, Ms. Koriat was awarded the President’s Award for Volunteerism in 2009 and the Minister of Health’s Award in 2010.
Ms. Koriat holds a B.A. degree from the Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Mr. Sergio Goldfeld
Director Of Business Development
Mr. Goldfeld manages the business development activities of TransCom. and is responsible for handling the clinical trials’ customer and supplier relations. Mr. Goldfeld joined TransCom in 2008, bringing more than 15 years experience in clinical trials. He started as a CRA at Eli Lilly, and after becoming a Senior CRA he moved to PPD, where he was the Clinical Operations Manager in Israel, South Africa and Turkey. After leaving PPD, Mr. Goldfeld joined Quintiles as the Director of Clinical Operations in Poland and Central Asia. At TransCom, Mr. Goldfeld worked with the clinical trials and translations team to keep the company aligned with the international standards in clinical trials, wich is a paramount to the company’s success.
Mr Goldfeld Holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Hebrew University and an M.B.A. degree from the Herzlyia Interdisciplinary Center.

Dr. Elad Goldberg, M.D
Medical Director
Dr. Goldberg is a specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He is an experienced clinician working in a tertiary medical center and counseling all types of departments and patients. Additionally, Dr. Goldberg has been working with TransCom for more than 8 years and specializes in medical records, study protocols, safety documents, IRBs’ submissions and other study related documents in accordance with GCP-ICG guidelines. He also provides professional support for clinical trials planning and management, including in-site support for study teams when required. Dr. Goldberg provides the medical monitoring and clinical supervision for TransCom on a daily basis.
Dr. Goldberg graduated from the Sackler School of medicine in Tel-Aviv University, and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases in Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson hospital.

Mr. Shmulik Berkovich
Global Business Director
A healthcare business leader with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience in the healthcare industry, Mr. Berkovich advises TransCom on business development and company’s strategy.
Mr. Berkovich joined Ciba Geigy 1977, where he held various medical and commercial positions, becoming the general manager of the Israel office. In 1996 Mr. Berkovich co-founded Medison Pharma that, under his leadership, has become the market leader for niche biotechnology and pharmaceutical products, diagnostics, and medical devices in Israel, Romania and Slovakia, representing more than 15 international pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies. Mr. Berkovich recently established SBT Global Consulting, supporting TransCom’s marketing and operational activities and facilitating the expansion of niche manufacturers to emerging markets.
Mr. Berkovih holds a Bsc in Chemistry from Tel Aviv University and MBA from Tel Aviv University and Wharton School.

Mr. Matan Topper-Erez
Director Of Global Operations
Mr. Erez manages the day-to-day activities of TransCom, and along with his professional team of dedicated Project Managers and Content associates handles the company’s customer and supplier relations. Mr. Erez has joined TransCom after several years of working as a customer service expert for a major cellular operator, and thus brought to TransCon the awareness of the importance of customer satisfaction to the company’s success. In an industry that tends to be focused more on professionalism and less on service awareness, Mr. Erez’s attitude and methods make sure that TransCom provides its clients with top-quality customer service, along with the best available professional services.
